This Privacy Policy explains how Travis Penny, a Mortgage Loan Originator with Vision Mortgage, LLC (together, "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your nonpublic personal information when you use travis.mortgage, travispenny.com, or any of our forms or services. This notice is provided in keeping with the Gramm Leach Bliley Act and applicable state privacy laws.

Information we collect

To evaluate and originate a residential or investor mortgage transaction, we collect nonpublic personal information including:

  • Identifying information such as your name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, and Social Security number when you formally apply.
  • Financial information such as income, assets, liabilities, employment history, bank statements, and tax returns.
  • Credit information from one or more consumer reporting agencies.
  • Property information about the home you are buying, refinancing, or using as collateral.
  • Technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you interact with our site.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Quote, structure, and originate your mortgage loan.
  • Verify your identity and protect against fraud.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to deliver the service you asked for or as required by law. That can include:

  • Wholesale and correspondent lenders considering your loan.
  • Loan processors, underwriters, appraisers, title companies, insurance providers, and closing agents.
  • Service providers who host our systems, send our email, or store our records under written confidentiality terms.
  • Federal, state, and local regulators, law enforcement, and courts when required.

We do not sell your personal information.

How we protect it

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your nonpublic personal information. Access is limited to staff and vendors who need it to do their job. We require our service providers to keep your information confidential.

Your right to limit certain sharing

How long we keep your information

We retain loan file information for the periods required by federal and state mortgage record retention rules, generally three to seven years after your file is closed or withdrawn. Inquiry only information is kept for up to two years and then deleted or anonymized.

Cookies and online tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and basic analytics. Nonessential trackers do not load until you accept them through our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

State Privacy Rights

Information collected to evaluate or service a mortgage loan is generally regulated by the federal Gramm Leach Bliley Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act and may be exempt from certain state privacy law requirements.
