A quick look at who I am and how I work.
I'm Travis Penny. I got my start in the residential mortgage business back in 2004. I took a detour for a stretch (let's call it my Vegas era), came back to lending, and I'm still here closing loans today. All in, that's around 16 years of real time in the mortgage trenches. I'm licensed in Maine and Florida, and I lend on DSCR investor loans in 40+ states.
I actually live the two states I lend in. Summers in Maine, winters in Florida. So when we talk insurance quirks, flood zones, well and septic, snowbird timing, or what it really feels like to make the move south, it's not theory. It's my calendar.
My pitch is pretty simple. I treat your file like it's mine. I pick up the phone. I tell you the truth about your scenario, even when it's not what you wanted to hear. And I close clean.
I built the @homeloanGOAT brand because mortgage marketing is mostly forgettable, and I wanted to make content that's actually useful. Maine and Florida are the two coasts I know best, and the bridge between them is the work I'm proudest of.
