DSCR Loans for First Time Investors
You do not always need prior landlord experience or a real estate license to get a DSCR loan on a rental. Some of my programs accept first time investors. Others want a track record. I will tell you which path fits before you write the offer. Not everyone will qualify.
Do I need investment experience?
Not always. First time investor DSCR programs exist. Larger or riskier properties may still require experience.
Do I need a real estate license?
No. A real estate license is not required to be a DSCR borrower on the programs I use for first time investors.
What still matters
Credit, down payment, reserves, the property rent, and a clean business purpose file.
