If you want the program details in one place, start with my foreign national DSCR loans page. Here's how it works and who it fits.
Can a non US citizen get a mortgage?
Yes. Foreign national programs are built for buyers without a Social Security number, US credit or US income. The property carries the file.
What will I need?
Expect proof of funds for the down payment and reserves. Some programs want those funds sitting in a US bank account, and some ask for an EIN. Program rules vary, and I'll tell you exactly what yours needs.
Is it only for rentals?
Yes. My foreign national DSCR loans are for investment property only.
Where can I buy?
37 states. I don't do DSCR in California or Rhode Island, and Montana is LLC only.
Where to go from here
My foreign national DSCR loans page has the full rundown, and the qualify quiz tells you in two minutes if it's worth a call.
